Treasure Valley Community College is excited about the opportunity to strengthen our institution through innovations, research, and increasing capacity to address student needs. About Title III

In 2005 the U.S. Department of Education awarded Treasure Valley Community College a Title III, Part A, Strengthening the Institutions grant to fund projects designed to improve student success and student retention.

The Title III Strengthening the Institutions Program is a competitive grant program that was established by Congress as part of the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended (HEA). The purpose of the program is to provide grants to eligible institutions of higher education to improve their academic programs, institutional management, and fiscal stability in order to increase their self-sufficiency and strengthen their capacity to make a substantial contribution to the higher education resources of the Nation.
