Copying a Course
- In the Course Options section of the Control Panel, click Course Copy.
- Do one of the following:
To copy specific materials into a new course, click Copy Course Materials into a New Course. Enter the Destination Course ID for the new course, select the Course Materials you want to copy, and check the Enrollments box if you want to copy users.
To copy specific materials into an existing course, clickCopy Course Materials into an Existing Course. Enter the Destination Course ID for the existing course, select the Course Materials you want to copy, and check the Enrollments box if you want to copy users.
To copy the entire course into a new course, click Copy Course with Users (Exact Copy) and enter the Destination Course ID for the new course. - Click the Submit button and click the OK button. (You will receive an e-mail to confirm that the copy was successful.)
Exporting Course Information
Use the Export feature to export course content to save or import into another course. Note that this feature only exports content and does not save any user interaction with the course.
- In the Course Options section of the Control Panel, click Export Course.
- Click the Export ______ button.
- Select the course materials you want to export.
- Click the Submit _____ button and click the OK button. (You will receive an e-mail to let you know that the file can be downloaded.)
- In the Course Options section of the Control Panel, click Export Course.
- Click the name of the file you want to download in the File Name field and click the Save button.
- Select a location to save the package and click the Save button.
- Click the OK button.
Importing Course Information
- In the Course Options section of the Control Panel, click Import Package.
- In the Select a Package section, click the Browse button.
- Locate and select the package you want to import.
- Click the Open button.
- In the Select Course Materials section, select sections from the package that you want to import.
- Click the Submit ______ button and click the OK button.
Archiving a Course
At the end of a course, use the Archive feature to save a backup of the course onto your computer's hard drive.
- In the Course Options section of the Control Panel, click Archive Course.
- Click the Archive ______ button.
- Click the Submit ______ button and click the OK button. (You will receive an e-mail to let you knoe that the course file can be downloaded.)
- In the Course Options section of the Control Panel, click Archive Course.
- Click the name of the file you want to download in the File Name field and click the Save button.
- Select a location to save the package and click the Save button.
- Click the OK button.
