Create a Test

  1. In the Assessment section of the Control Panel, click Test Manager.
  2. Click the Add Test ____ button.
  3. Enter a name for the test in the Name box.
  4. Enter a description and instructions in the Test Information section.
  5. Click the Submit _____ button.
  6. Click the arrow on the Add box and select a question type from the resulting menu.
  7. Click the Go _______ button.
  8. Enter text for the question in the Question Text box.
  9. Enter a value for the question in the Point Value box.
  10. Enter or select other options.
  11. Click the Next button, if applicable, and click the Submit ___ button.
  12. To add additional questions, repeat steps 6-12 to continue adding questions to the test.
  13. When you are finished, click the OK button.
    Note: The test will not be available to students until it is added to a content area.

Adding a Test to a Content Area

  1. In the Content Areas section of the Control Panel, select the content area you want to add the test to.
  2. Click the Test _____ button.
  3. In the Add Test box, select the test you want to make available.
  4. Click the Submit _____ button and click the OK button.
  5. Click Modify the Test options.
  6. In the Test Availabiltiy section, select Yes next to Make the link available. (Select other test options, as desired.)
  7. Click the Submit ______ button and click the OK button.
  8. Click the OK button.
