Use of Social Security Numbers at TVCC

OAR 581-041-0460 and ORS 341.290(17) authorizes the voluntary use of your social security number. The number will be used by the college for reporting, research, and record keeping. The College will also provide your number to the Oregon Community College Unified Reporting System (OCCURS) that is a clearinghouse that gathers information about students and programs to meet state and federal reporting requirements. Your number will be used only for the purposes authorized by statute. State and federal law protects the privacy of your records.
