Customized Contracted Trainings
The Workforce Training & Education Department provides customized training developed around the specific needs of employers. The WTE is flexible in providing training delivered on-site with participating companies or at TVCC facilities. Companies can acquire virtually any type of training through the WTE. Training time is based on the unique needs of the client. Examples of training include Wildland Fire, CPR/First Aid, OSHA safety and numerous other industry competency based curriculum. All fire classes sponsored by TVCC meet or exceed federal NWCG standards. Upon successful course completion students will receive Certificates of Completion from Treasure Valley Community College in Ontario, Oregon.
Space is limited for all classes, and to avoid course cancellation Register Early, by filling out the form on the reverse side or by calling the TVCC Workforce Training 541.881.5757. We do not reserve spaces without pre-payment. TVCC may have dorm rooms available. Please contact 541.881.5782 for information and reservations.
CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY
The TVCC reserves the right to cancel a class for which there is insufficient enrollment. If this should happen, we will either reschedule the class or provide a full refund of class and materials fee. TVCC requires a minimum of one week’s notice to withdraw and receive a refund, less a $25 cancellation fee. Once you register for classes, you will remain registered and will be held responsible for the fees and grades assessed for these classes unless you contact TVCC to cancel your registration before class begins. Any student substitutions must be arranged no less than one week prior to class. If you decide not to attend a class or classes, you must drop these classes by contacting Sheryl Romans at 541.881.5757 or via email sromans@tvcc.cc If you do not cancel your registration or pay your fees, you will remain registered, and will be charged full course fees.
