Offering a career ladder nursing curriculum which is accredited by the Oregon State Board of Nursing,the TVCC nursing program is a candidate for accreditation by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing formally known as National League of Nursing Accrediting Commission.
Our faculty facilitates the education of self-directed students who take responsibility for their own learning. We offer a state-of-the-art simulation laboratory where highly skilled faculty incorporate this new learning modality to enhance the academic and clinical experience of students.
Successful completion of the Associate of Applied Science degree in Nursing (AAS) prepares TVCC graduates for the National Council Licensing Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN), and a successful career as a healthcare professional.
Nursing Program Application Deadline
February, 17, 2014 at 5: pm MST. All items must be submitted to the Nursing Department office including a $50.00 non-refundable nursing application fee. It is the applicant's responsibility to ensure that all required documents are received by the department deadline. Documents submitted but not requested (letters of reference, etc.) will be discarded.
Due to the holiday on Monday, the department will accept applications until noon on Tuesday, February 18, 2014.
